Plot for Season 3:

Artemis is shocked to find out that Ras al Ghul is still alive and ventures forth to find out how, seeing as how she had a full shot of him being pierced through the chest. She finds out about the Lazarus Pit and starts toying with the idea of seeing if it could also bring Wally back to life. Bart and Nightwing (maybe?) and Kaldur and perhaps even her sister all try to dissuade her, but to little avail.

It is Lex Luthor who stops her. (“Now now, my dear…your boyfriend would be quite disappointed to see you passing off an undead as him.”) She then realizes that Luthor has quite the hunch about what happened to Wally (seeing as how he knew that Flash and Impulse should be able to stop the explosion). She demands to be in on what he knows, and he promises her the info…for a favor or two. Thus begins Artemis’ descent into the antihero.

In the end, it is her friends who save her and help her out. They then begin an awesome trek around the planet and even into the galaxy to find Wally, who had been transported to Darkseid’s planet where he has been secretly kicking tushpuppies in the background and taking names.

“Which is why it would open up quite the slew of problems for Artemis…as well as hint to her that Wally may not actually be as dead as he seems. After all, “No body, no crime,” right? (Hey, maybe Luthor might even say that.) And thus her official “Where’s Wally” journey will begin.”

Eh, to count down the fewer days until YJ comes back, I’m just going to post all sorts of crazy theories/predictions of what is going to happen or be revealed in the last ten episodes. Try not to be too weirded out… ^^

So! Today’s posted prediction?

Wally will be a casualty of the Invasion (except not).

Here’s how it will go down:

Wally West, in accordance with the pleadings of the fanbase and of his friends, suits up to rejoin the hero life on a more permanent basis. He fights alongside his best friend, fights against his girlfriend and provides hot Foe Yay fanfic material, and tries his best to keep his sanity afloat. Good times.

One of his missions involves some enemy base, explosives, and Megan and Connor being in on “The Plan.” Of course, Artemis is present too- except on the wrong side. Something goes wrong, and Wally sees that he won’t be able to make the cut to stay alive.

“Nightwing, you’ll always be my best friend,” he says through the mind link. “Artemis, I love you and I don’t regret anything we did.”

BOOM! Building blows up with him inside, Nightwing is thrown into massive guilt pits, Artemis starts flirting with the edge of insanity, and Megan and Connor are both not too far behind. Things just go downhill from there- for everyone.

But wait! What’s this? Why, it’s Wally pulling himself out of the ashes!

He pulled the “I’m dead” scenario- except this time, no one is in on it besides himself. He purposefully does this to stay in the background and pull little “somethin-somethin’s” on the baddies while everything else goes down; an undercurrent of the Invasion, if you will. (aka, JUST AS PLANNED. 8D)

Then the inevitable happens: the heroes are downtrodden, the enemies look to be the victor, and some bad guy is laughing his head off saying, “Everything is mine and none of you can stop me!”

Until Wally appears out of nowhere like Beastboy in Teen Titans AW SNAP and goes, “You might want to check your headcount there, buddy.” He pulls out a trigger, flips the switch, and ba-da-bing-ba-da-BOOM, all his well-placed explosives turn the bad guy’s plans to utter crap.

And yes, there is much happy crying and reunion and the Earth is saved. The end.

Or, as an alternative to all this, Wally really does die and everyone’s distraught reactions become permanent. But I like the previous idea better. 8D

Personal Thoughts: No, I don’t really think this would happen. But hey, you can’t deny it would be awesome~
